Tesla Software & Feature Roundup: November 2026

Based on updates available through October 31, 2026: FSD v14.3.11 to v14.3.13, HW3 FSD Lite expansion, 2026.38 features, and Tesla’s new U.S. FSD referral program. November watchlist items marked expected are not confirmed releases.

🚀 What Shipped During October

2026.33.5 and 2026.38.5.11 ✅ Rolling out

  • 2026.33.5 — October 7. Introduced FSD v14.3.11 for HW4 and FSD v14.3 Lite for supported HW3 vehicles. It also brought features from the 2026.32 branch into this FSD update line. The published FSD notes remained unchanged, so this should not be presented as a completely new feature package. Not a Tesla App
  • FSD v14.3.12. Appeared in the 2026.38.5 update family during October, alongside FSD v14.3 Lite for HW3. Get Tesla
  • 2026.38.5.11 — October 24. Carries FSD v14.3.13 on HW4 and FSD v14.3 Lite on HW3. Its release page describes it as an updated v14.3.13 build with unchanged release notes. Not a Tesla App
  • Rollout snapshot. At the October 31 check, Not a Tesla App showed roughly 32% of its tracked cars on 2026.38.5.11. This is a tracker sample—not a confirmed percentage of every Tesla worldwide. Not a Tesla App tracker

HW3 Lite expands to Model S and Model X ✅ Listed in release notes

The 2026.38.5.11 notes now list FSD v14.3 Lite for HW3 Model S, 3, X, and Y. They also report FSD Streaks support for legacy Model S/X equipped with Intel infotainment and HW3. This moves older S/X support beyond the “watchlist” status in the previous roundup. Not a Tesla App

The Lite notes describe improved responsiveness, smoother steering and lane centering, parking and reversing capabilities, Arrival Options, and always-available Speed Profiles. Feature-by-feature eligibility still varies; not every accompanying UI feature is listed for every model. Not a Tesla App

Automatic Collision Evasion ✅ Continues on HW4

Automatic Collision Evasion remains part of the HW4 FSD release notes. It can activate FSD when the system detects insufficient driver attention or an apparently accidental FSD disengagement. It is not listed as part of HW3’s Lite feature set. FSD remains supervised and does not make the vehicle autonomous. Not a Tesla App

🎃 2026.38 Features Reaching Owners

Halloween Mode ✅ Rolling out

Supported AMD Ryzen vehicles receive a ghost costume for the vehicle visualization, Trick or Treat Mode with spooky sounds and flickering lights, a scheduled light show, and a Halloween-themed Photobooth. The release notes describe it as usable year-round—not just on October 31. Not a Tesla App

Intel vehicles receive a smaller subset: Halloween wraps and license plates, but not the full Halloween visualizations, Trick or Treat Mode, or Halloween lock sound. Not a Tesla App

Set Arrival Energy from your phone ✅ Available on supported software

Owners can set their desired arrival battery level when planning a trip in the Tesla app:

  1. Open the location tab.
  2. Enter a destination.
  3. Tap “Set Arrival Energy.”

The feature requires Tesla app v4.58.0 or later and compatible vehicle software. Not a Tesla App

Supercharger Site Maps ✅ Expanding hardware support

The 2026.38 notes list detailed Supercharger site maps for supported Intel-equipped vehicles. At select pilot locations, the display shows the site layout and live stall status: available, occupied, or down. This is not a promise that every Supercharger has a detailed map. Not a Tesla App

Visual updates and dynamic headlight leveling ✅ Hardware-dependent

  • Improved vehicle visualization. Supported AMD + HW3 Model 3/Y vehicles receive higher-quality vehicle images and an enhanced parked scene. Not a Tesla App
  • Dynamic Headlight Leveling. Listed for specific Model 3 and Cybertruck configurations, automatically adjusting low-beam aim according to driving conditions and nearby traffic. It is not an all-model software unlock. Not a Tesla App

Emergency Drive Away ✅ Listed for supported vehicles

This feature allows a supported vehicle to shift into Drive while a Supercharger cable remains connected. Tesla’s notes explicitly warn that using it will damage the vehicle and Supercharger, may leave the owner responsible for repairs, and shares short camera recordings with Tesla. It is an emergency-only capability—not a normal charging convenience. Not a Tesla App

2026.38.6 — October 29 ✅ Early rollout

The late-October 2026.38.6 release lists Halloween Mode, Emergency Drive Away, Set Arrival Energy, visual updates, Supercharger Site Maps, and security improvements. Its release page does not list the v14.3.13 FSD package shown on 2026.38.5.11; the two version numbers should not be treated as an identical feature bundle. Not a Tesla App

🗣️ Grok & Tesla App Updates

Grok loses its “Beta” label ✅ Reported undocumented change

Not a Tesla App lists removal of Grok’s Beta label in the 2026.38 family. This is a labeling change; it is not, by itself, confirmation that Grok-to-FSD voice commands have launched. Not a Tesla App

Grok’s regional expansion moves forward ✅ Listed in updated notes

The 2026.32.7 release page now lists Israel, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco, and Jordan among the added markets. Grok requires AMD infotainment, and available capabilities can differ by country. This updates the previous roundup, where several of these markets were still described as expected. Not a Tesla App

FSD referral program ✅ Live in the U.S.

Tesla launched an FSD-focused referral program in the U.S. at the end of October. Referring owners need an active FSD (Supervised) subscription or an outright purchase; owners with FSD through a one-year grant are not eligible. The program also requires Tesla app v4.62.0 or later. Tesla’s official program terms

  • Eligible recipients receive a one-month FSD trial.
  • If the recipient subscribes during that trial, referring subscribers receive one free month.
  • Referrers who purchased FSD outright receive $99 in Tesla Credit instead.
  • Participation requires Tesla app v4.62.0 or later and eligible FSD ownership or subscription status.

The program is U.S.-only at launch, and Tesla has ended its U.S. vehicle referral rewards program alongside the change. Not a Tesla App

📅 November Watchlist

  • Wider 2026.38.x deployment — expected. Both the FSD-equipped 2026.38.5.11 branch and the newer 2026.38.6 release were reaching vehicles at the end of October. Further distribution is a reasonable watchlist item, not a guaranteed rollout schedule. Not a Tesla App
  • More HW3 Lite deployment — watch rollout breadth. Model S/X are now listed alongside Model 3/Y, but a supported model appearing in release notes does not mean every eligible owner has received the update. Not a Tesla App
  • Grok + FSD voice commands — timing unconfirmed. Earlier reporting quoted a “this fall” target and confirmed development work. Earlier report The release notes checked for this roundup do not establish a November launch. Release notes
  • Grok hands-free texting — previously announced, rollout unverified here. September reporting identified owner’s-manual references, but that is not enough to mark the capability as shipped in November. Not a Tesla App
  • Pothole avoidance and expanded reasoning — listed as upcoming. These remain under “Upcoming Improvements” in the v14.3.13 notes, without a release date. Not a Tesla App
  • Next FSD release — version and timing unconfirmed. Avoid assigning a speculative v14.3.14, v14.4, or v15 release date based solely on cadence; the verified late-October build covered here is v14.3.13. Not a Tesla App

📌 Availability Note

Release notes often include features inherited from earlier builds, so an item appearing under a newer version is not necessarily new in October. Availability also varies by region, hardware, and vehicle configuration. In particular, the FSD rollout reporting cited here concerns North America and should not be read as confirmation of equivalent availability in Germany or elsewhere in Europe. Not a Tesla App
